i originally assembled this in 2016 or 2017 and got permission from ropponging on twitter (rip) to use their fanart as the cover on 8tracks (2x rip). re-sharing the mix here because i'm still proud of it and it's full of bangers. the only song on here that isn't from my personal library is track 13 - at the time it was recommended to me as a shingo song and i couldn't disagree.

one of the things that fascinates me most about shingo's character is the tension between the cool&self-confident image he tries to project (fake it 'til you make it) and his desperate need for attention&validation. whether it's something npd-adjacent or he's attention-sexual or something else, it doesn't matter. one thing that does matter is how yuuya sees him and understands him in a way nobody else does. i love dartshipping and i love you, sawatari shingo.

Full disclosure that I'm not in the fandom, but I saw you'd posted this in fanmix, gave it a listen, and really enjoyed your song choices! Ah, so much was lost when 8tracks shut down...

thank you! one thing i miss about 8tracks is how easy it was to browse for fanmixes that looked good, regardless of fandom, so i'm glad you could find something to enjoy fandom-blind :D
